5 Stars Great Book
I am raising a 14 year old Grandson with Attachment Disorder and this book has given me alot of great insights and tools to help understand him and discipline advice. A great resource.

1 Stars Parenting teens
Being a parent of a teen for the first time, I was looking for some insight. I had heard many good things about this book. As I first started to read it I was greatly disappointed. This book strongly advocates lying to your children and being passive aggressive. If we are trying to teach our children good values and help them be adults of good character this book is unacceptable. I expect the same values in myself that I do in my child. If I had to resort to being maniupulative and lying to raise my child I would be very disappointed in my parenting skills.

5 Stars This book is worth its weight in gold
If you have a teenager, or better yet, before your child becomes a teenager, get this book. You won’t regret it. It gives you strategies for dealing with your teenager while maintaining your self respect and preserving your respect for the teen.

5 Stars great book
If you’re a parent this is a must have book. It picks up where the first book left off and gives wonderful insight and helpful hints into helping and holding your children accountable. I will I had this years ago it would have been so helpful. I highly recommend this book to all parents.

5 Stars better than counseling
This book has been a great tool for me. you have to be a little humble because it is humbling to admit you have been approaching things wrong but if you are willing to change this book is great. It is very practical. I love my kids and I want to do what I can to equip them to be mature, responsible, adults. We just have a few years before they are out of the nest and on their own. This book has helped me transition as a parent as my kids grow and their needs change. It is a Godsend to me and I trust in the long run to my children as well.
