Ouch! I Need A Band-Aid!

If there is one thing I have learned as a mother that is useful advice for passing on it is this… Just go buy the Band-Aids. Buy them in all kinds of colors and varieties. They are not expensive. And then when your kid asks for one even though clearly it isn’t necessary just give it to them – so you are out a few pennies, big deal! Kids have a thing for Band-Aids and when Mommy puts it on it makes them feel loved. So the next time you hear, “Ouch! Mommy, I need a Band-Aid!” don’t just

Fresh Meat for the Wolves

S ome of you may know that my daughter has been sick in the last week and I wasn’t sure if she’d start school today. She’s going to junior high now, which of course is a VERY BIG DEAL.
